The Gold Run is a unique charity car cruise through the beautiful countryside of East Dorset, bringing together an eye-catching convoy of yellow and gold cars in support of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
This is a gentle, social drive – not a race – designed for car lovers of all kinds, from everyday daily drivers to cherished classics and breathtaking modern supercars. If it’s yellow or gold, it belongs on The Gold Run.
The Route.
The run weaves through scenic East Dorset roads, stopping at as many Lewis-Manning Hospice Care charity shops as traffic conditions allow. Each stop helps raise awareness for the vital work Lewis-Manning does across the local community.
The journey finishes in style at Shore Road, Swanage, where the cars come together for a spectacular seafront display. The result is a stunning showcase of gold and yellow vehicles against the backdrop of the Dorset coast – a true celebration for participants and spectators alike.

You Want to Take Part in the drive supporting Lewis Manning.
- We need to raise not only awareness, but also funding for this amazing local hospice covering East Dorset.
- As a result, all cars entering will be required to pay £12 per vehicle.
- Organisations can also take part, providing you have yellow or gold cars in your fleet, contact us for the detils.
- We would love to have one major Sponsor on board as well.
- We realise that Sponsorship is a two way business activity, and we will ensure that you get as much publicity as we can, posters will have your logo and website on, Lewis Manning shop windows could have your information in (and there are 10 of them in the area), and if the price is right, the The Gold Run could be called The (Your Company Name) Gold Run (has anyone got a contact at Brinks Mat?!!!!)
